Preschool age is the most important period in children's development. Their full dependence on their parents is gradually turning into them being more and more independent. Children gain much new knowledge through discovery, problem solving and expressing their emotions.Guidance, love and care of us adults during this time is essential. Our professional team is aware of it and, together with your trust, will show you that stepping into SPECTRUM CARE was a great choice.

May is one of the cornerstones of Spectrum Care and has been with us since the very beginning. She works with our youngest group of children, where her calm, caring and individual approach creates a safe and supportive environment for the little ones. She studied Linguistics and Literature (Portuguese/Hebrew) at the University of São Paulo in Brazil and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Literary, Cultural and Interart Studies at the University of Porto in Portugal.
May is passionate about languages and education. She teaches Portuguese and English to children, young people and adults, and during her studies she also explored Spanish.
In her teaching, May strongly believes in an individual approach to every child, helping each one discover and develop their own strengths and potential. She encourages children not only to learn, but also to think actively, ask questions, explore and develop their own understanding of the world around them.

Mary leads our oldest group of children, guiding them through an important stage of their preschool journey and preparing them for a confident transition to primary school.
With 10 years of experience teaching English, a Bachelor’s degree and a TESOL certificate, May brings extensive knowledge, experience and a truly professional approach to her work. She has an excellent natural connection with children, and every lesson she plans is engaging, meaningful and carefully designed with a clear educational purpose.

She encourages them to think independently, discover their strengths and always strive to do their best. Thanks to the high-quality preparation and guidance they receive at Spectrum Care, our children have a strong track record of successfully gaining admission to prestigious primary schools.

At Spectrum Care, Sofi leads our creative afternoon programme, where she encourages children’s imagination, creativity and joy of discovering new things.Sofi is currently in the final year of her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Education at Charles University.
